Green Globe Volunteers
G G V -Global Association of Volunteers Dedicated to a Green Earth- a Global Environmental Foundation registered in India, in the year 2012, as a Not for Profit Charitable Organization. We work in the field of nature conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. We strongly advocates and works to protect air, water, animals, plants, and other natural resources from pollution or its effects. Our mission is to restore the Earth’s essential forest and wetland ecosystems. During the last decade we could plant and protect more than new seven hundred thousand trees on earth.
It is estimated that over 5.25 trillion pieces of trash are currently in our oceans, and that amount is growing every day. This trash affects our beaches and oceans in many ways. It is not just talking about the plastic littering that occurs on beaches all over the world. There are various types of pollution on the beach. Annually, there is seven billion tons of debris deposited on beaches. These are health hazards for us who use the beach recreationally and an environmental hazard for the marine biodiversity that depends on it. We could positively interfere on that matter during the last one decade up to a small extend.
